Technical Workshop: Digital Organizing

Democracy Moves held a digital organizing technical workshop with youth activist Calla Walsh on March 25th, 2021. The workshop featured best practices for large-scale social media organizing, building digital teams, and using social media for change.

About the speaker

Calla Walsh is a 16-year-old organizer from Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA). She has worked on electoral and advocacy campaigns at the federal, state, and local levels, most recently as a student organizer for US Senator Ed Markey’s re-election campaign. She is currently teaching a course on winning the youth vote at Movement School NYC Campus, and is passionate about political education, youth civic engagement, and using social media to mobilize her generation.
